It has taken me so long to write this blog post. Finding the words to even express the emotions and feelings I have for this beautiful family has been a little more difficult than I’d imagine. I normally do not write much with each session post, but this one requires heartfelt words and my utter most gratitude. You see, I have had the pleasure of getting to know this beautiful lady the past few years. From her engagements, to wedding, to finding out she was going to be a mother, and then watching her become the most inspirational woman and mother I have ever known. Her heart is the size of Texas and the unconditional love she has for her adorable baby boy is breathtaking. And I was the lucky one to document it all.
Earlier this year she had to go through one of the most absolute hardest things anyone could go through when she lost the love of her life and father of her child in an accident. One cannot even imagine the heartbreak she has had to endure and all I can say is she has done it with such strength, courage, and grace. Her unwavering faith in the Lord is one that I admire completely. Each day is a battle. Each day is a true testament of our relationship with Christ. When we go through struggles big and small, He is the One who is by our side, holding our hand and guiding us, giving us hope. Hannah has taught me that life is very precious, but also very temporary. Our real home is in heaven with our Father, where Luke is today.
For those of you who pray, I ask that you say a special prayer for this young family. Keep them in your thoughts as they are going through another chapter in their lives. And pray that Luke’s legacy will never be forgotten, that Brady will grow up knowing his father was truly a great man, husband, and daddy.
To Hannah: Words cannot express how thankful I am to have the opportunity to know you and watch Brady grow. You are strong, beautiful, and incredibly kind. The Lord has so much left to do in your life. Never lose faith or hope during the struggle. Turn to Him and know you are loved, cherished, and cared for. XOXO!
