This marks the first time I have ever been to Colorado in the summer. And might I say, it is my new favorite. I love being outdoors and enjoying scenery, especially whenever the scenery is as beautiful as this. Aspen trees, vibrant flowers, green covered mountains, and waterfalls. We enjoyed our first family vacay with our little man and cannot wait to go back next year!
Brantley and I enjoyed some much needed time away from the craziness of life. Just sitting outside and enjoying nature together was so much fun. He loves being outside as much as I do, so we spent a lot of our trip exploring and having picnics!
We headed into the town of Telluride and found this adorable little free-standing coffee spot. I am in love! It is going to be my new favorite staple of traveling to Telluride and I can only imagine how nice it will be in the winter this year!
Then we traveled to some local jeep trails. This one led up to a beautiful waterfall at the edge of town. We have never been that close to a waterfall before and it was so surreal and beautiful! It’s truly amazing the things God has created for us to enjoy and sit in awe of!
I love to explore little towns and this trip we were able to really walk around and find hidden gems. So much character!
This was a trip we will never forget! To be away from our daily lives and constant emails. It was the perfect refresher we all needed after a crazy busy first half of the year. Colorado will be amongst our favorite summer time trips, but for now we will look forward to seeing some snow this winter!
